Sat around in pleasant sun waiting for Mark (Blaven) listening to the cricket. Mark arrived and we were off in the car and Eddie was saying slow down. We got to the ferry that was waiting for us and went straight across then Eddie drove to the base of the hill not so slow himself. We were on the move for about an hour schedule says 2 so we were up on schedule.

Jumped out of car and struggled up grotty rocky slope with bracken and shrubs for 1000 ft, then picking line between boulder fields on good grass, still about 500ft to go when hit ridge.

At a flat bit last section took forever in a cool breeze, up in 42. Down at a good pace but not too spectacular. Got small blister on heel and cramp within 20 metres of car. 7 minutes up on schedule.

Eddie then drove to his start 5mins and set off up track at a sprint. I then had a stretch and drove back to mothership.
