Craig must have had an unexpectedly long cold wait in the car at Inverlael waiting for Rob to appear. Then he drove past Ullapool swapping Mark for Rob on his way to Inchnadamh for this run over two very rocky quartzite hills followed by a run out in an unusual direction to Glen Cassley.

Amazingly the weather gods yet again favoured him as a brief spell of pleasant sunny weather arrived especially for him so I believe he enjoyed himself, although for the second leg in a row the quartzite was the last surface that he could have wanted with his massively improved but still swollen ankle.

Meanwhile Mark drove round a very long way to get to Craig's finish, before driving to his Ben Klibreck leg. The rest of the team went up to Ben Hope to await their arrival after that. One person, I forget who, took the van to the Klibreck start to drive on to Ben Hope and notify the team when Mark had started the last solo run.
