Behind the scenes a huge logistical exercise has been underway for some months to plan and refine the relay route, estimate times, and figure out transition points. As the start of the relay approaches the details are gradually homing in on a final version.
No matter how much planning has been done the adventure is certain to throw up plenty of surprises, unforeseen situations and challenges along the way, and adjustments to plans will be required. Flexibility, smiles, and laughs are going to be key to success!
